YOUR SPACE FOR
HEALING.
DARLING GIRL, IF YOU’RE QUESTIONING WHY YOU ARE THE WAY THAT YOU ARE. TAKE A SEAT, YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE.
If there is one thing you need to understand, it’s that there is nothing wrong with you. You are just human and you are living and experiencing your life in the best way you know how, based on your subconscious programming.
Our programming is made up of everything we learnt as a child (particularly between the ages of 0 - 7) about ourselves, about others, about the world around us. Through what was told to us from our parents, caregivers, society, or what we saw modelled to us from those same people and groups. Who they said you were, or what they told you about the world or family, relationships, communication, money, men, sex (the list goes on).
But it’s also what happened to us, the trauma or significant events that you experienced as a child that show you what feels good or what feels bad, what hurts you or what causes you pain, what you wish didn’t happen and what you need to do or who you need to be to make sure it never happens again.
We were programmed and conditioned and this is how we end up perceiving ourselves, others and the world around us, and it also dictates how we behave and experience our life too.
WE START TO NOTICE BEHAVIOURS THAT WE DON’T WANT OR SITUATIONS THAT WE DON’T WANT THAT CONSTANTLY HAPPEN IN OUR LIFE.
And this is what we call patterns. When regardless of how much we consciously tell ourselves that we don’t want it to be this way anymore. That we don’t want to find ourselves behaving in certain ways, our experiencing the same situations over and over again.
Problematic behaviours like procrastination, perfectionism, people and pleasing. Over working, over spending, over eating and overthinking. Negative self talk or negative thinking. Fixing or rescuing, codependency and self sacrificing (the list goes on).
But these behavioural patterns are all rooted in our subconscious programming and conditioning. They are unconscious, low vibrational behaviours but they are simply protective mechanisms driven by our ego. All in an effort to avoid things like judgement, rejection, abandonment or failure.
We can also notice patterns that are situational, finding ourselves experiencing the same situations over and over, in different areas of our lives, only in different places or with different faces. Perhaps it’s the same situation, just at different jobs. Or it’s the same type of partner, just with different people.
YOU’RE EASILY TRIGGERED, BUT WHAT IF I TOLD YOU THAT THIS IS ACTUALLY SHOWING YOU WHERE YOU NEED TO HEAL.
Our problematic behavioural patterns are also nervous system responses which can cause us to be easily triggered, often reacting instead of responding. Every single persons capacity, also known as our window of tolerance, is different based on the things that have happened to us, the trauma and significant events that we’ve faced. And when we are triggered, our nervous system is actually going into fight or flight, freeze or fawn, due to a perceived danger (based on our own perception of the world).
But our triggers are our teachers, they are like clues. And when we are able to develop the self awareness, we can see that they are actually showing us where there is a wound, where we feel unloved or unworthy or not enough, and where we need to heal within. Life is a mirror, so when we are triggered we should really be asking ourselves “what is this showing me, about me”.
PART OF THE HEALING JOURNEY IS REALISING THAT YOUR EGO IS JUST TRYING TO PROTECT YOU.
There is such a negative connotation around the ego, but it’s actually what makes us human. As spiritual beings, we are actually a fragment of Source (Creator, The Divine, God, The Universe), which is our soul. But when we choose to incarnate on Earth as humans, part of the human experience is that we actually forget all of this (with the intention of remembering it, as we move through our life experiences and heal).
The Law of One tells us that we are all a fragment of this Source Energy, that we are all connected. But the human ego sees us as separate. It’s separation, fear, scarcity, lack, attachment, control. And when we were a child, our ego learnt how to keep us safe based on these constructs. And now as an adult, this is exactly how our ego protects us, even if that’s sometimes hard to see.
If we have not healed from the things that were told to us about ourselves, others or the world around us, or the things that happened to us, our ego will continue to operate from these negative constructs to protect us from the judgement, rejection, abandonment, failure that we’re so afraid of.
All of these things that we experienced as a child, that we learnt were not safe. That made us feel unloved, unworthy, that we’re not enough and that we never want to experience again. And they become patterns in our lives, until we heal them.
HEALING IS NOT BECOMING A BETTER VERSION OF YOURSELF. IT’S UNBECOMING EVERYTHING THAT YOU’RE NOT, TO COME BACK TO WHO YOU REALLY ARE.
When we’re operating from our ego, when we’re responding, reacting, expressing, making decisions from our ego, we’re not living from our heart and we’re not connected to our soul, which is who we really are. The ego is separation, fear, scarcity, lack, attachment, control, it’s our conditioned self. Whereas the heart is unity, trust, abundance, detachment, surrender, which is our authentic self.
Healing really isn’t a journey of “becoming” anything, but more a journey of “unbecoming” everything that is not you or that doesn't serve you, to come back to who you really are, who you’ve always been. To let go of the low vibrational emotions and energies, that keep us operating and experiencing life from our ego.
But it’s not about getting rid of the ego, the ego is what makes us human. It’s just about dissolving the ego, being able to see when the ego is trying to protect us but choosing to live from the heart instead. Because it’s the ego that tells us that what we need, what we’re “lacking”, is outside of ourselves. When actually, everything we need is already within. And it’s our heart that reminds us that we are already whole.
Healing is more a journey of remembering, not only who you are but why you’re here in the first place. That we are not the limitations that have been put upon us by our parents, caregivers, society, but that we are the limitless creator of our reality, a literal fragment of Source Energy. And we do that from the heart, ultimately finding and living from a place of unconditional love.
HEALING HAPPENS WHEN WE SIT WITH OURSELVES. BECAUSE THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND ALWAYS KNOWS WHAT WE NEED, TO HEAL.
Our perception is reality, which is based on our programming and conditioning. It’s how we perceive ourselves, others and the world around us. Everything in our external world is quite literally a reflection, a projection, a manifestation of your internal world, whether you have intentionally manifested it or not.
This can be explained on both a neuroscience level, in how we seek out evidence in our reality to support our programming and conditioning. Which is how our brain functions, constantly looking for evidence to prove what we believe to be true. But it can also be explained on an energetic level through quantum physics, in what we attract in to our reality.
Quantum physics tells us that everything is energy. And the Universal Law of Vibration states that everything in the universe, seen or unseen, is constantly moving and therefore vibrating at a certain frequency. The Law of Attraction states that like vibration attracts like vibration. So regardless of how much you want something, how much you don’t want something, how much you want to change a pattern in your life, if you don’t do the healing work to change your vibration, you will continue to attract more of what you don’t want.
Healing must happen on a subconscious and energetic level, across all bodies (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, energetic and our DNA). And it must also happen at the root cause, the “why” you are experiencing these patterns in the first place. All healing is self healing, but it can be so valuable to have someone guide you through this healing process, to exactly where you need to go within your subconscious mind to address the root cause.
DARLING GIRL, CHANGE IS POSSIBLE. AND EVERYTHING I’VE BEEN THROUGH HAS LED ME HERE, TO GUIDE YOU THROUGH THIS JOURNEY.
I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Connie, and it is my heart and soul’s purpose to empower you to understand what is happening to you on a human level, to understand who you are on a soul level and to guide you through the healing journey that you’re here in this life for.
As I said, all healing is self healing. I cannot heal you, you can only heal yourself. I am simply here to hold space for you and to facilitate a process that guides you exactly where you need to go, to heal. I am extremely passionate about helping women through this journey because this was my own journey. I have been you, I am you.
I really feel that it is through overcoming my own personal challenges and the healing and spiritual journey that I took (and that I’m still on), that I am able to truly understand, connect with, empathise with and help my clients. It is my hope that you feel seen, heard and held in this space. But also inspired and empowered to choose yourself and connect deeply back to who you truly are.
